INTRODUCTION
To understand how the branches of this family tree connect, you'll have to know a little about the "trunk" (that's me).
So to give the reader a starting point, I've included a bare-bones family tree to illustrate my paternal and maternal lineage.
Like so many other families, mine has no shortage of complicating details, mysteries, and even secrets. I will do my best to only publish information that's reliable. However, where there are gaps to fill in, I will note any theories/speculation/etc.
*Bobby Yearout was my biological grandfather. However, my mom's stepdad, James Fitzgearlds, was the man I've always called "grandad". Sometimes I even forget that we're not blood relatives. And to me, as the family historian, those relationships are more important than DNA.

On this website, I will refrain from using the names of my living relatives (with the exception of my dad) to respect their privacy. Not that I expect this page to blow up. But the last thing I want to do make any of my cousins feel uncomfortable. This should not be an issue, as the purpose of the page is to record family history. But for the sake of clearing up any confusion: both of my parents have siblings, as do I. None of us are only children. It's just that those people will not be listed here.
